The liquid highlighters are some of the best highlighters out there. I have used these highlighters for nearly 10 years and I find myself coming back to these highlighters time and time again. The pigmentation is incredible and the choice of color is fantastic. You don't really see highlighters in colors like these anywhere else. My favorite is the red highlighter due to the pigment saturation while still leaving the highlighted text visible to the reader. The pinkish-orange color (I think it's labeled coral) is a close first for me as well due to the unique color. There is only one con I can think of in all the years I've used this product is that yes they do occasionally leak. They don't leak from any seams, rather the liquid can overflow into the tip and cause excess when you go to highlight something. I personally attribute this to the fact that the tip is gathering the liquid from a reservoir rather than having a pre-saturated marker like other highlighters. I personally don't have much of an issue with it as I think due to the way the highlighter is and it should be anticipated to happen sometimes. Other than this these really are fantastic markers! I will continue to use these highlighters until they either discontinue the product (please don't!) or I no longer need highlighters, like when I'm deceased!

I use Sharpie liquid ink highlighters to keep up my work notebook. Various types of activities get a color assigned, making it easier to track whenever I might have to go back and review notes later. The most used ones were running out quicker than the other colors in the 10-color variety pack, so I started ordering yellow, green, and pink in 12-packs, which works out well. The local stores used to carry these individually, but they no longer do, which makes the box purchase a good deal.

Perfect highlighters! These are really hard for me to find locally. I have used just about every highlighter available at Staples/Office Depot and these are by far my favorites. Some of these colors are a little dark but I still find uses for them. I use highlighters constantly in nursing school, probably more than most, but these have never bled through or smudged my gel pen or typed papers.

What can I say? I got a great deal on these highlighters, and I'm pleased with them. There is a bit of color transference if I'm not careful--that is, some of the highlighter ink will transfer to the page facing the one I highlighted on if I turn the pages too quickly. But I haven't had a problem with the ink bleeding through paper. Most of the colors are vibrant too, which I love. A few of them are pretty dark and even a little difficult to read through, but out of the ten colors, I'd say that statement (that they're dark) applies to three of them, tops--the red one, the dark blue one, and the dark pink one. Believe it or not, the purple isn't hard to read through once I have put the ink down and it has dried. I have bought these before, and I will buy them again.

This is the only set that has become the standard at our engineering business. You waste your time if you try any other brand or set. The highlighters are really watery but the color is really deep and pronounced, yet not too dark to interfere with the text. The reds and pinks are a little close to each other in shade, so I sometimes save those colors for the last resort. You can see why this set is a #1 best seller everywhere. The case is nice and ribbed, and layered with a a hard plastic inside ridge for the cap clips to stay clipped to so that they don't bunch up in the soft, clear vinyl package. I only ordered this set because the exact same set that I bought last year (maybe it was two years ago) and seldom used had four colors that were dried up when I went to use them this year.

These highlighters are pretty amazing and if writing utensils matter to you more than the average Joe, there are *lots* of little features to be impressed with... (Heck, even if you're indifferent and just need something to get the job done, I promise, you should buy these ones!) Pros: 1. Visible ink levels 2. Vibrant, fluorescent colors that seem to not fade 3. Chiseled tips that don't wear down easily (I've used half the ink in some and the tips still seem brand new) 4. Awesome holes on the end of each marker so you can keep them in a 3-ring-binder if you like, or string together 5. A really sturdy, clear plastic molded sleeve to carry them neatly in a bag. Con's: ZERO! NONE! NADA! Yes, I'm a nerd who loves quality office products that keep my work/home/school work neat, organized, and PRETTY! Would absolutely recommend these highlighters!

Highlighters are a student's best friend. Studying is a lot more interesting & fun when you use colorful highlighters. I've used so many different highlighters across several brands over the years and these are by far my favorites. I would highly recommend these highlighters to students of any age or just about anyone looking for a reliable set of highlighters. These are my go-to highlighters. Here's a list of reasons why I found these to be the best: 1. Bright & vivid colors except for 2 colors (red & dark purple; I use these primarily for underlining purposes only) 2. The ink lasts for a long time (depends on usage...but for me, one would last me for about a month as a college student taking 15-20 credit hours worth of classes) 3. Consistent flow of ink (say goodbye to skips & spur outs) 4. Doesn't bleed through (exception: very thin recycled low quality paper) 5. Aesthetically beautiful & practical design with the little notch for attachments and pocket clips 6. Doesn't smear, as advertised 7. The chisel doesn't get squashed over time (I found this to be the case with most other highlighters) 8. Durable (I've dropped things -- including highlighters -- so many times, I can't keep count...and yet these never broke on me)

I love these highlighters! They're the best I've ever used, though they're not without their drawbacks. I love that there are so many color choices, so I can color code what I'm highlighting for or switch it up. I also love that they don't dry out easily. However, they do bleed through, quickly if you're not swift or careful, since the tips are super wet. The darker colors also don't highlight as well on certain types of paper, making it difficult to see what you've highlighted. The colors I've had issue with are the red, green, dark blue, and violet. Other than that, these were great highlighters I will definitely buy again.

Absolutely love these highlighters!! This is my third time purchasing them and it definitely won’t be my last, especially at the great add-on price right now which is half of the price they usually are. The quality is unmatched and the colors are so vibrant. My only issue is that I hardly use the dark purple and dark blue ones because only on certain papers do those colors not obstruct the words underneath. They’re much better on glossy surface papers (like a textbook) vs a regular matte computer paper type of paper where they darken the word and actually make it slightly more difficult to read. They’re still worth it for all the other colors but perhaps in the future Sharpie could either change those two colors or simply duplicate the yellow or orange. Just my opinion!

As someone who worked for years in the office supply industry, I can say these are great highlighters. Sanford/Sharpie is a trusted name in the industry and consistently produces quality products. You can buy less expensive markers, but that can be hit-or-miss... and it's doubtful you'll be more satisfied with another brand than you will be with these. If you're looking for a set of great highlighters with attractive options to help you color code, I highly recommend these. They're vivid and look great both in the package and on paper. The case they come in isn't super-sturdy, but does the trick of keeping them together. The see-through barrels help you keep track of the ink levels. I purchased these for quality color highlighters and that's what I got!
